We will not be offering the composer fellowship program on the 2023 modified version of the DQMF.

The Composer Fellowship Program was created to provide emerging composers with the opportunity to be in residence at the Dali Quartet International Music Festival. Fellow composers collaborate side by side with performers, faculty and students by receiving coaching, workshops and attending rehearsals of working process pieces.
REQUIREMENTS
- Submit two samples of your work.
- Submit two letters of recommendation.
BENEFITS
- Three Lessons with faculty composer in residence.
- Collaborative readings and rehearsals (side by side with faculty/fellow quartets)
- Potential performances of your work (string orchestra or quartets)
- Participation in the College Orchestra (if the composer is a string player)
FEES
- $100 application fee (due April 15th)
- $300 tuition (includes lessons, workshops, performances and access to chamber music coaching daily)
