2017 ArCoNet Winter Boot Camp

ArCoNet invites you to participate!
The ArCoNet Winter Boot Camp is an intensive 4 day program best suited for high school, college and semi-professional string players looking to enhance their practice and performing skills.
On our 11th bi-annual Boot Camp program, ArCoNet assembles a group of outstanding teaching artists with extensive careers in music performance and education. We are committed to working with each student to help them accomplish their musical goals.
Our faculty and guest artists enjoy teaching and performing careers with the Dali Quartet, the ArCoNet Programs, The Harrisburg Symphony, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Curtis Institute of Music, Temple University, the Annapolis Symphony among other esteemed organizations.
Current and past Boot Camp participants include international students from Ecuador, Brazil, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela, students from Indiana University, Rice University, the Curtis Institute of Music, Temple University, the Cleveland Institute of Music, New England Conservatory, and local and regional high school students.
Previous lessons and master classes provided by acclaimed musicians including Ida Kavafian, Steve Tenenbom, Dara Morales, Doris Lederer, Yumi Kendall, Joseph Conyers, Daniel Pereira, Naomi Gray, Kurt Nikkanen, CJ Chang, and other recognized musicians.

PAYMENT INFORMATION
FULL TIME STUDENTS: $450
(ages 13 and up)
9am to 8pm
Fee includes:
-3 private lessons (mornings)
-1 Alexander Technique Private Lesson (mornings)
(extra Alexander lessons upon request at additional charge)
-4 mentoring sessions (2-3pm)
-3 Alexander Technique Group Workshops (3pm-4pm)
-3 group classes (4pm-6pm)
-3 master classes (6:30pm-8pm)
-1 solo recital (Sunday January 8th at 6pm-OPEN FOR THE PUBLIC)
NO SUNDAY CLASSES morning.

PART TIME STUDENTS:
$250
(ages 12 and up)
3pm-8pm on Thursday and Friday
2-8pm on Saturday and Sunday
Fee includes:
-3 group classes
-3 faculty master classes
-3 group Alexander Technique Workshops
-3 mentoring sessions (Conversations with Faculty)
-1 Solo Recital (optional on Sunday Jan. 8th at 6pm)

1. Submit a video of recent performance with 2 contrasting movements
