ArCoNet (The Arts & Community Network) is an incorporated nonprofit organization founded in April 2012, committed to offering high quality music educational, cultural and intellectual activities by:
- Influencing the lives of children, youth and the community through an innovative music learning program championed by a professionally-supported relationship, and to assist them in empowering their potential, confidence and skills as they grow to become successful and caring individuals.
- Promoting culturally diverse music performing and arts activities
- Attracting national and international artist and groups in the performing arts
- Developing programs that enhance the cultural and intellectual growth of the community
- Offering special programs for the needy families in the community
ArCoNet embraces a wide spectrum of high quality music and other arts programs ranging from private lessons, youth orchestras, pre-college and community initiatives. ArCoNet is the outgrowth of the “Strings and The Youth Orchestra programs”, which were founded by the prominent Venezuelan Violist Adriana Linares. The program started as a one-woman operation out of Adriana Linares’s private studio and now has over one hundred students and more than ten affiliates.
